Young women can spend their Spring Break on Capitol Hill

“You could spend this spring break watching Netflix and cleaning sand out of all your clothes. Or you could spend it in the nation’s capital working with a group of 25 college-aged women to empower women and girls in service and advocacy.”
By Joining United Way and the Kimberly-Clark Corporation 25 college-aged women will be given the opportunity to spend a week seeing what life is like as an advocate on Capitol Hill.
The event is from March 15th through the 20th. These young girls will be given the opportunity to meet like minded leaders from many other colleges all over the country as well as speak out for changes in policies to create a better world for women right in Washington D.C.
